about me-

Hello! I’m Suyu Situ, a Cognitive Science student at UC San Diego, with a passion for Design and Interaction. Currently soaking up the sun in Los Angeles, I’m excited to embark on the next chapter of my design journey!

I’m all about crafting intuitive user interfaces that make life smoother and more enjoyable. There’s nothing I love more than placing lines and shapes exactly where they need to be to create a design that just feels right and bridges the gap between users and interfaces

My time at UCSD has been a hands-on adventure, where I’ve sharpened my skills in tools like Figma, Photoshop, HTML, CSS, and even dabbled in some Python and Java. Whether it’s whipping up a sleek interface or diving into code, I’m always up for a design challenge.

Beyond the classroom, I’ve had the chance to intern and work on projects that taught me the value of putting users first. Collaboration is key, and I’ve learned how powerful teamwork can be when it comes to solving design problems.

When I’m not lost in Figma, you’ll find me immersed in learning 3D art using NOMAD, binge-watching Netflix series, or on Yelp hunting down the next must-visit restaurant. Because, let’s be real, design inspiration can strike anywhere—even over a delicious meal!

I’m all about digging into user behavior and creating designs that are not just functional, but also a delight to use. I’m always eager to learn, whether it’s mastering a new tool or refining my current skills. My mission? To keep growing as a designer and push the boundaries of what’s possible in UI/ UX design!
